New NSTP Intern: Helen Dunlop

NSTP is pleased to welcome Helen Dunlop as an intern. Helen says:

“I’m originally from Vancouver, but have been living between Canada, New Zealand and Australia for the last decade, and have come to think of New Zealand as a second home. Having grown up within a family of enthusiastic museum-goers, I developed a passion for art, history and cultural studies, and am currently completing my Masters in Museum Studies at the University of Sydney. Recently, I wrapped up an internship at the Powerhouse Museum where I had the chance to research and catalogue an archive of 1960s fashion photographs.

I have joined National Services Te Paerangi to undertake an internship project where I will be helping to update and add to the current online resources available, particularly FAQs. Having previously lived in Auckland for four years, this is the first time I’ve lived in Wellington and am so far loving the experience (and getting used to the wind).”
