The dawn of the last century saw an increasing number of new fangled horseless carriages making their mark on society.  The craftsmanship of the carriage makers was very evident in these early vehicles with the traditional skills still very much in demand.

Our feature exhibition ‘Bold as Brass’ brings together a superb collection of cars of the Brass Era.

Included in the display are some very rare examples of motoring history – such as a 1913 Metallurgique and a 1912 Mercedes. The Mercedes is one of four made especially for the Sydney Motor Show of the same year. An eclectic mixture of over 50 cars and motorbikes can also be seen in this unique gallery setting.

Montana World of WearableArt Awards celebrates its 20th year. Marvel at two decades of creativity with all the Supreme Award winners from each year on display in the WOW gallery.  The diversity of materials, craftsmanship and incredible attention to detail is totally evident in all the garments on display.

A selection of entries from the 2008 Awards will also be on display.
